Charlie

This is Charlie. He became part of our family

on Saturday. He is a Guinea pig in case you

weren't sure. Gabby thinks he is so cool. He

loves to burrow, so Gabby lets him climb in

her pocket, her sleeves or under her shirt.

We didn't do much research before we got

Charlie. We talked to some pet shop people

and looked at a couple of books, but didn't

know everything we should have before

getting him. The most important thing is

that Guinea pigs are pack animals and do

much better in groups. They are much

healthier and happier if there are other

Guinea pigs around. So, Gabby doesn't

know it yet, but Charlie is going to get a

friend really soon. I'll post more pictures

as soon as Charlie gets his room mate.
